Russian American wedding reception, March 28, 2010
Small Russian American wedding party took place at the Duane Park Restaurant on March 28th, 2010. Guests were from United States, Russia and Ukraine. Most of them were able to speak English. The ceremony was conducted in English, DJ Barnaul had to setup near the entrance because the lack of space inside of the restaurant. Singer Sasha Menshikov was coming to the small stage in the middle of the restaurant to perform his songs. MC Misha made all announcements in both English and Russian.
Musical director of the group is famous Russian pop singer Alexander Menshikov has decades of experience.
He was a lead singer of Russian hard-rock bands "Black Coffee" and "BIM BOM" (eccentric show group) in Moscow. Alexander studied singing in The Gnesin's Academy of Russian music in Moscow, Russia. He performed on Soviet National TV and competed at the international singing competition "Step to Parnas".
5GRAND.U$ RUSSIAN POP BALLET under direction of Ballet master Natalia Ejova. Three young beautiful female dancers provide dancing support for the band through the evening. Guests of the party will enjoy Cabaret, Russian pop, Variete, Russian Gypsy, Broadway and Vegas style dancing. Russian Gypsy show with surprised involvement of the guests will be highly appreciated.
Musicians will provide live music (violin, classic or jazz guitar, piano - it's your choice) during reception, cocktail hour and ceremony.
DANCING REVIEW
In the middle of the evening there will be a dancing show: (Russian Gypsy, Ukrainian, Russian Cossack, Jewish - it's your choice), and a funny surprise - dancing number "Small Chukcha Fighters".

Мы очень долго искали подходящих музыкантов для нашего торжества но никто не подошёл с таким знанием дела как вы. Вы сделали всё как обещали : приехали посмотрели на место, проработали сценарий вечера, вовремя приехали в день свадьбы, свадьба велась на русском и на английском языках, оборудование отлично работало и вся ваша команда (DJ Барнаул, скрипач Александр, певец Александр Меньшиков и Михаил Смирнов как MC) работали на все 100%. Мы хотели душевного праздника с элементами русских свадебных традиций и вы превзошли наши ожидания. Ваши народные костюмы, обряд с караваем, песня "Чарочка", русские народные песни, костюмированные представления "Цыганки" и "Медведя" и романсы сделали вечер просто незабываемым.
Отдельное спасибо скрипачу Александру. Он очень талантливый человек. Он способен играть любые произведения и одновременно устроить шоу где он будет продолжать играть пока скрипка находится за его спиной. Многие из наших гостей были в восторге от его игры на скрипке на церемонии и приятно удивлены когда он сел за пианино.
Михаил, вы прекрасный ведущий. Вам удалось привлечь внимание всех наших гостей и все с удовольствием принимали участие во всех ваших идеях. Вы буквально приняли нашу идею свадьбы и всё сделали как мы хотели. Подбор слов и музыки был всегда уместен.
Спасибо Александру Меньшикову. Прекрасный певец. Он способен исполнять песни в любом жанре и на любом языке.
Мы очень рады что выбрали "Барыню" быть частью нашего праздника. Ваши низкие цены никак не идут в сравнение с уровнем вашего профессионализма.

I just want to thank your band for being so great. I hired you because I saw you perform at my friend’s wedding last year and I really liked you. Everyone was impressed with your performance at my wedding and you truly made it special giving me a variety of music-anything from Italian, American to great popular Russian songs. Sasha is easy to deal with and is very flexible. He made sure everyone was enjoying the music and dancing. The violinist is very talented and he was simply amazing! The dancers were great, the singers could sing a variety of things and had great voices. The show was very good. Thanks so much for everything! I am highly recommending you to anyone who needs a band/show at their special event!
